Code is equal to Kabuto in the Naruto series. Not the main bad, but still lynch pin pivotal. Ultimately side line destination. Kawaki isn't even really a villain or antagonist, he's more a counter foil. The Shinju, have no grandiose plan. Jura, isn't the main bad. We're getting an otosuki event, sides will be made, conflict will get resolved, both teams will have to settle or fight, or fight to settle.

I promise you. I understand that Sakura is strong. BUT, she will never be seen as a thing but utterly useless.

I will always say, most of Naruto's time skip training was chakra control and to a lesser degree, taijitsu. With the shit he ends up doing later in shippuuden, sage mode, rasenshuriken, KCM, etc, there's no way he was doing all that crap with the mediocre chakra control he had in part 1.

I don't agree about character design Naruto has better character design than boruto look at rekudo mode like juubito and juubidara and obito unmasked and pain hagoromo even kaguya have batter design over most of boruto villains Also sasuke of the vally if th end have the best design Boruto designs are just belts and some weird jeans

This is so spot on, Boruto villains suck. The only good one was Jigen/Isshiki. Momoshiki's whole "I'm superior to you bow before me puny humans!" schtick is old and tired, and now he's just like what would happen if Kurama and Sukuna had a very annoying. Amado is interesting but he's really just an ally by way of mutual self interest and not an antagonist.

I think it's because Boruto as a whole is a much, MUCH shorter and concise story. Well concise in speech bubbles. The story itself just feels rushed, Naruto had been going on for a decade and Boruto even though is released once a month is still just an incredibly short story, I don't think it will last as long.

I can accept many things you say in your videos, I can accept that people find Boruto an interesting story. I could accept that in some aspects it might be better... But saying it has better character designs than Naruto?! That's where I draw the line!

Sorry, No. The character designs in Boruto are not better than in Naruto. They are „uhm, what now“ derivates of Naruto and they come off a bit extra. The Boruto fans love Boruto more because the world hates Boruto more , which makes them cling to their choice even harder.

The Shinju are not going to fix the situation. They are emblematic of what is wrong with Boruto villains. They are literal Tabula Rasa looking for a reason for being with no real motivations behind wanting to consume their targets other than well they gotta do it. Almost every major Naruto antagonist had a history and philosophy behind their actions that would tell you something about the ninja world and challenge Naruto's (or another main character) beliefs.

You got shikadi fucked up if you think there's zero chance he'll not dual mode like half the back up characters. Temari has shown a willingness to beat face for even minor details. I'd be surprised if she doesn't even try to teach him wind release at the bare minimum. Imo doesn't need or deserve that one up

The Boruto villains just don’t look cool. Jura has a worse haircut than Gaara, Bug looks homeless and dirty in both versions. Ishiki and Kawaki’s Dojutsu looks lame. Momoshiki, Delta, and Koji are the only exceptions. Code is alright, but he still looks out of place. Like a Victorian era Vampire. I like cool looking characters fighting other cool looking characters. Aesthetics matter a lot to me.

Boruto is not supposed to have compelling villains, because the conflict is ultimately between Boruto and Kawaki/the otsosuki and Boruto trying to become a hero after being wrongly branded a villain. The story is not focused on the villains thus they are not as good and you know what that’s okay

At 7:16 Something I kind of noticed about boruto and the concept of rasengan in general: Boruto seemed to kind of be mimicking baryon mode with his new rasengan. And I'd note that rasengan was originally invented (at least by minato) to mimick tailed beast bombs. Both of these use chakra (itself a sort of impure nature energy, which may be why minato himself wanted to instill an elemental release) to mimick what tailed beasts do. But the thing is, while the tailed beasts are considered just masses of chakra, this technically isn't true. Sort of. Because the tailed beasts are the splitting of the ten tails, which is a god tree, which somehow converts NATURE energy, into what is chakra. Likely, being as how chakra is a mix of spirit (self nature) chakra, and ones physical abilities, this is because it is drawing this energy into itself, from nature, and converting it into chakra. And recall the humans couldn't really seem to do this before hand, although certain examples existed in the world of animals who could, and I'm sure even in the time of hogoromo there was at least a few people who had figured it out. And now humans have the ability to manipulate 'chakra' within themselves, and are incorporating the idea of outside chakra more readily. And the rasengan, a technique which was originally designed to emulate a technique, which was an assessment of the positive and negative ENERGIES of the tailed beasts (themselves a result of nature energy given physical form), has lead it pretty much every historically important step of the way. And it's specifically a technique that requires precise chakra control, which itself is a perfect way to train for senjutsu chakra, themselves a clan who decided to mix their blood with other clans to strengthen the blood of the whole. As apposed to collecting it all in one source, they chose to slowly but surely integrate and improve the whole. And, in doing so, they have been thwarting the opposite goal of the Uchiha to have power collected in one area. It seems since kaguya has showed up the world has slowly become more and more otsotsuki

I have a question, and i know it is a bit off topic but, if Neji learned of Naruto's parents, being the 4th Hokage , before their fight in the Chunin exams would it change how he saw Naruto, and if so how do you think the fight would change?

Two Blue Vortex is great, but Naruto is better overall imho. You have to consider the entire story, and part 1 of Boruto is just not good enough. But I think it's great that Kishimoto managed to turn that dumpster fire into one of the best currently running fighting Shonen.

People are written code off, If I trust kishi with anything is his writing when it comes to compelling villians. Code being beat down constantly is only path of the course for his character.

I think when Kishimoto took over, it was too late to redeem the Kara members, so I believe retaining code, and keeping other core members like delta still relevant is his was of making these villains more fleshed out. i think with the shinju, will definitely be better set up villains that remain prevalent throughout the entire TBV series. Remember these folks are literally a few days old 😂. so they are actively learning how to become villains in real-time.

This one pisses me off because he has so much potential in trapping someone in a shadow and using a fan to throw wind blade at them while they can't move. That is amazing and they just don't do it.

It shouldn't be that hard to understand. Loving something/someone doesn't mean it's perfect. It means you can take in the good AND the bad and still enjoy it.
